Who is the Strongman in your house???

Strongman: Who is the strongman in your house? Are you having problems in your marriage? Are you and your spouse fighting and fussing over issues all the time? Do you find yourself competing with one another over various issues ? Is there a "Must Need" that you have to have, the last "word" in order to feel as though you have won? Do you go without speaking for hours, and sometimes days? Hey guys, are you the head of your house or is she? Hey ladies, do you allow your husband to lead your house, or are you leading because you say to yourself, After all, I make more money than he does, so then, that should limit his say so. Is your mother-n-law the problem? Are you listening to your in-laws, who sometimes can be outlaws, and cause friction that upsets the balance of a household. Is there infidelity, unforgiveness, Is money the problem? Is your house out of order? Or is there a "strongman" in your house? Unfortunately this is the face of many households in our society today. Having talked with many couples, I find this to be a common thread regardless of color or race.What I have learned is that this "strongman" has no face. Who then is this "Strongman" you might ask? Let's look at 2 key points. First the bible says, No man can enter into a strong man's house and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. Mark:3:27:Kjv: Please note the second part of this verse what Jesus said, Except he first bind the strong man, key word "Bind" which means to confine, restrain, or restrict, to wrap around with something so as to enclose or cover. Many times I find that many couples are restricted and confined Because we see the bible as a form of religion "Wait Who told you that"? and not instructions for life, which limits and confines us in our thinking. What we fail to realize, is the important of Gods order and principals in the Union of marrige. First, note the order of God. But I would have you to know, that the head of every man is Christ: and the head of the woman is the man: and the head of Christ is God 1Corinthians:11:3:Kjv. Notice even Christ has a head. What we must understand is that God has a purpose with order, for example God gave us four seasons Winter, spring, summer, and fall. Notice in the summer if it doesn't rain something dies! (Example) flowers, vegetation, why,one might ask? "Because the order of that season was broken". So it's in relationships when he or she is out of place, roles cannot be substituted. Second Gods order sets up the foundation that a house must be build on. Notice this read in 1Corinthians:3:11:12:13:Kjv For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. (note one key word is foundation) Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stone, wood, hay, stubble, every mans work shall be made manifest:(uncover) for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire, and the fire shall try every mans work what sort it is. In summary just as we have Storms, Floods, and Hurricanes which test the foundation of our natural houses, so will it be when our relationships are tested and tried to see what type of foundation it's builded upon.
